Welcome to the ReACT information site! The Regional Activities Coordination Team is a task force appointed by the ACS Committee on Meetings and Expositions. Our task is to provide tools and information to ACS Local Sections, Regional Meeting Planners and Region Boards. Currently available planning tools may be downloaded from this site, while new tools and compilations of best practices are under development.
ReACT is composed of individuals from each region. Every member has extensive experience in region operations and regional meeting planning. The Team is continually looking for ways to assist its constituents. If your group has requests that the Team might assist with, please contact us.
ReACT envisions a network of empowered Region Boards that initate, enhance, and coordinate activities tailored to the needs and strengths of the ACS membership. We anticipate that these activities will extend far beyond the traditional regional meetings, and that the Boards will provide a much-needed structure for intellectual synergism between local sections.
