Annual Ironman-Ironwoman Competition

Among the most coveted titles in the Chemistry department are those of Ironman and Ironwoman. Each summer, faculty and students compete against each other in seven "athletic" events, earning points towards the crown. The events of the competition are bowling, racquetball, table tennis, horseshoes/darts, 50m swim, 100m dash, and a long distance run. There is a very high level of participation in each event, strengthening relationships within the department. And sometimes we just get a little crazy.
