IMPORTANT: Visiting research teams (from outside Furman University) must submit the Summer 2010 Application (PDF). Applications are due March 15, 2010.

Applications are accepted ONLY from TEAMS composed of a faculty member and student(s). Students may NOT apply individually to the program. Notes:

• Participating students must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
• Participating students must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program (and plan to be enrolled during fall term of 2010).
• Students of under-represented minority groups are especially encouraged to participate.
  

The program will run May 17 through July 23 (10 weeks). Students will receive a stipend of $4,000 and a $1,000 housing/transportation allowance. Faculty are eligible for a stipend of up to $8,000 as well as support for supplies. Prospective teams should contact the Program Director, for more information:
